Dakchyata works with a wide range of government and public and private sector partners which include:
Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Government of Nepal:
Dakchyata is part of the overarching TVET PP programme which is implemented under the guidance of the Ministry of Education. The Project Steering Committee (PSC) is chaired by the Secretary of the Ministry. Under R3, the project aims to enhance the capacity and coordination role of the Government in the TVET system and improve TVET governance.
Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT):
Dakchyata provides specific technical inputs for CTEVT to implement the result 1. However, CTEVT is the main apex body of the government for TVET sector. Therefore, CTEVT is the main implementing partner for the project to coordinate and implement all other activities of R2 and R3 as well.
Private Sector:
Including industry associations, confederations, chambers of commerce, small businesses, professional federations, commodity associations, polytechnic schools, technical training providers, employer associations, and others.
Relevant Government of Nepal line Ministries:
(Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security; Ministry of Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives; Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration): the project will seek support and coordinate with relevant sectoral ministries depending on its three target sectors (Tourism, Construction, Tourism) to implement activities at national, provincial and local level.
Media:
Media is the main vehicle to drive public awareness campaign, coverage events, and success stories and to create wider awareness and sensitization on skills development and its contribution to economic development.
Rural/Urban Municipalities:
The project will engage and seek support for delivery from municipalities, and create informed environment in TVET’s understanding and benefits for local development.
