After successfully completing the TVET Sector Analysis Study which led to establish the baseline situational data of the TVET sector of the country in a unique way, Dakchyata is delivering the EU’s commitment to supporting Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST) in formulating the 10- year TVET Reform Strategic Plan (TRSP- 2022 – 2032) since May 2022. The main objective of the TSRP process at federal level is to draft objectives, strategies, and interventions for the 10-year TVET plan for the entire country. The consultation meetings/workshops have already started at federal level. The Team of experts plan to have broad-based consultative meetings and workshops with public sector authorities, business and industry associations/economic sectors, parliamentarians/politicians, private sector TVET schools, academia/universities, development partners and others. 

The process of the TSRP is to share the findings of the TVET sector analysis and solicit the inputs on the areas of the interventions for the forthcoming plan formulation. Once the Team completes its tasks at federal level, they will roll out similar activities throughout all 7 Provinces of the country. It is anticipated that the federal level consultative meetings/workshops will be completed within the month of July 2022, whereas the entire assignment will be completed later in year 2022.
