Under Dakchyata TVET Practical Partnership, Brilliant Manpower Training Center (BMTC) has organised homestay trainings in Kahu Dada in Pokhara, Bandipur in Tanahun and Kholasothar in Lamjung to enhance service capacity of the owners in reception, service, housekeeping, kitchen, and communications. The purpose of homestay training program was to promote the public-private partnership in TVET through practical participation of local government, homestay industries and their associations. In this component based on the needs of the homestay owners, a group of 20 participants were selected and trained in each of the three homestay villages. So, a total of 60 participants received trainings in homestay management as per the CTEVT prescribed curriculum.This program supported to strengthen the homestay owner's capacity to better cater for immediate and future staff need. The trainees got an opportunity to learn in real work environment.
