Making TVET accessible for all is one of the primary objective of Dakchyata under its direct funding grant Strengthening Employer Engagement in CTEVT Schools (SEECS) project to Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). Hence, providing mobility for students and instructors to visit business and industries is of utmost importance. Under this premise, Dakchyata represented by the project Team Leader Erik Winther – Schmidt formally handed over buses to the Member Secretary of CTEVT Mr. Jeeb Narayan Kafle today. 7 buses were officially handed over while 2 were previously handed to CTEVT schools. There are 9 CTEVT schools supported under the SEECS project across all provinces.

These buses are to help TVET students visit and interact with Business and Industries in the school catchment area. The busses are also meant for transporting instructors, who need to go to employers to learn more about those skills and methods that employers say they need, thereby updating and enriching the teaching of the instructors in the TVET school classrooms. Mr. Jeeb thanked for this and ensured that the busses would be used for exactly such purposes.
