Grant Agreement between the Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) and the British Council to implement the Strengthening Employer Engagement in CTEVT Schools (SEECS) project

CTEVT Grant Agreement

The British Council, through the European Union funded Dakchyata: TVET Practical Partnership project has concluded a grant award of EUR 3 million/NPR 374,310,000 to CTEVT on 3 December 2019 to implement the Strengthening Employer Engagement in CTEVT Schools (SEECS) project. The project aims to strengthen the implementation of school level employer engagement policies, processes and practices in Nepal's TVET sector, focusing on developing sustainable approaches to increasing the quality and relevance of training delivery and responsiveness to labour market needs.

With nine participating CTEVT schools representing the Agriculture, Construction and Tourism sectors, project activities will be implemented across all seven provinces of Nepal. The project will begin in December 2019 and continue through to 2021.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Pushpa Raman Wagle, Member Secretary, CTEVT, and Dr. Jovan Ilic, Country Director, British Council Nepal on behalf of their respective organisations.
