Dakchyata will be actively raising public awareness on the role of skills development to improve employability, encourage private sector’s increased participation in skills development through number of key events and activities.
The general outcome of the campaign will be better informed stakeholders taking ownership of and participating in TVET reform and improved general opinion of the advantages of TVET as an alternative to higher education for employment opportunities, self-employment and career development.
The project will conduct number of public awareness campaigns that will be implemented in close collaboration with our grant projects alongside CTEVT and the media. As such a detailed public awareness strategy has been developed.
The public awareness campaign will be an on-going project activity and will be handed over to an appropriate stakeholder before the end of the project.
Some of the key public awareness events/campaigns activities are:
- Photo and Video competition to support Public awareness
- Jobs fairs and Exhibits
- Use of local and national FM radios and Television
- Documentation of best practices
